Such statements are based on the current views and assumptions of management and are subject to significant risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from those expressed or implied in the forward-looking statements (or from past results). Additional information regarding these risks and uncertainties is set out in the documents filed by SYENSQO with the relevant authorities. The Website is subject to French law. These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with French Law.

9. Cookies

9.1 - General information

When you visit the Website, information on your browsing activity may be saved in 'cookies' stored on your Device. A cookie is a file stored on Your Device, which records information on how you browse a website. The data thus obtained are intended to facilitate future browsing of the same website and also make it possible to measure web traffic. These cookies are installed when You browse our Website, either directly by us or by certain SYENSQO partners. (See how to configure your cookie settings in point 1.5 below, 'Your choices with regard to cookies'). The shelf life of cookies is 13 months.

9.2 Cookies installed via the Website

The cookies we install on Your Device are session cookies that are required for the operation of the Website. You cannot disable them. They allow us to save your preferences regarding whether you choose or not to disable the performance cookies that record your visits to the Website.

9.3 Cookies installed by third parties via the Website

We include Matomo's audience tracking solution on the site, which deposits 2 to 7 cookies whose name begins with "_pk_" for the purpose of statistics on visits to the various pages. No personal data is collected by this tool, in particular the complete IP address of the visitor which would allow him to be identified: this is truncated so as to collect only the city. This statistical tool has been validated as GDPR compliant by the CNIL.

9.4 Your choices with regard to cookies

The storage of cookies remains subject to Your consent, with the exception of audience measurement, which is exempt from consent because it is strictly limited to measuring traffic on this Website. Audience measurement therefore starts without waiting for Your agreement, and You may refuse it at any time from the “Audience measurement” section at the bottom of this page or from the cookie management icon. You therefore have the option of configuring Your browser settings to block cookies at all times or only some of the time (depending, for instance, on the issuer). Browser settings also give You the option of enabling or blocking cookies as and when they appear, before being stored on Your Device. Given the purposes of cookies as defined above, any settings configured to block the storage of cookies is liable to modify Your browsing experience and/or the functions, services and conditions for accessing certain services requiring the use of cookies, such as an ergonomic layout of the Website adapted to Your Device, for example.

You can select or modify your cookie settings at any time as follows:

  • For Chrome: click on the menu then on 'Settings' and display advanced settings. Under 'Privacy and security', click on 'Content settings' and under 'Cookies', select the desired level.
